Poetry On Demand At Books In The Basin
I had a wonderful time being a Poet On Demand at the annual Books In The Basin event held at Odessa College in Odessa Texas. This event is sponsored by the Odessa Council for Arts and Humanities. Several best selling authors from across the country were at this event. I got to meet some awesome people, including independent author Robyn Mitchell, who has a really cool series of books out now called Mother Trucker. You can check her out at robynmitchellauthor.com. Best of all, I got to compose several improvisational poems encompassing a wide range of subjects, everything from fantasy football to David Sedaris!
